In Lojan, you can use the main pieces and special abilities to either play an offensive, defensive, or a mix of both strategies against your opponent.

Lojan introduces 6 main pieces:
Lion (the king of the pieces)
Turtle (the slowest and most durable piece)
Buffalo (the piece that destroys the opponent’s defensive walls)
Spider (the piece that destroys the opponent’s defensive towers)
Mouse (the fastest piece that steals the opponent’s coins)
Cat (the enemy of the mouse and protector of the lion)

And it includes 2 core abilities:
Wall Ability to block the opponent’s pieces’ paths
Tower Ability to limit the movement of the opponent’s pieces
